


From this page of pictures you can see the difference within the mainstream logos and the independent institutional logos. The independent logos seem to use more black and white colours whereas the mainstream ones tend to be bigger and bolder.
By looking at these and completing this task it can help me
to decide how I am going to design mine and how I need mine to look. As my group
are a mainstream company it means we will be making our logo bold and making it
stand out.
One of the main differences is that most of the independent film logos are in black and white, don't have a lot of movement and they look very simple. The main reason for this is because to create a logo it costs a lot of money and that is something these independent films do not have whereas with mainstream film logos they have the money to invest on creating movement within the logo and making it more complex. The logo is what shows off the film company so if they have a good logo then this is going to show audiences that maybe it is more of a good film company.
